History of Frankenteddy.com

It all started on January 3rd, 2004. At first, I just used it to experiment, and store pictures. Later on, when a friend told me about Habbo I started to enjoy it very much. I saw some of the fansites that the Habbos have made, and that was when I realized that I could probably make one better than that. (That was on the UK hotel, back when it was .com). People didn’t treat me well there, especially in the Official Fansite Drop-In because I was a girl. (Yes, this is true!)

After a couple years of being pushed around on UK for trying to make it official, I moved to Habbo Hotel.ca. I gained up a good reputation by participating in Hogwarts and events that my friends hosted, and as I was being taught more and more about Robotics, Java, NQC and the surrounding languages, I became even more fluent with HTML and its structures. I found that big websites are sometimes too big… so I decided to create one small, like a habbo console. People loved the content!

So we had to get a better one. Since the podcast I have is called HabboVision on the pod, what better to have on the site than a HabboVision itself!? The layout is now pretty awesome, and unique! It also isn’t too big, so if people have small screens it will still work. We have a great team here, and now we are all hoping to get onto the Official Fansites List. As a reader, you might think our expectations are high, but we haven’t yet seen ANY negative feedback; only a couple of neutrals.

Aha! So another chapter in the history of Frankenteddy.com is being written. On August 15th, 2006, we finally became a Habbo Canada OFFICIAL fansite. With this it brought major benefits for the site — we have been in the top 10 of Habbo Level’s topsites now, received OVER 2,000 page views in one day, and we actually received a couple of job applications. Hehehe. There was no time for partying though, I was hard at work creating a version two of dnD Power Hour Site. Now that we have achieved that goal of becoming official- it is time to set another. A new version of Frankenteddy.com is in the making - nicknamed v3. This will bring lots of power to your Frankenteddy.com surfing powers, and will probably be finished within the year… sometime… somewhere..! To all of the Frankenteddy Fans, and all my friends — I give a big shout out to you, and thanks for all of your support throughout the months.

History of Habbo-Vision.com

With the creation of Habbo-Vision on the pod, Habbo-Vision.com was born. It was pretty much a carbon copy of Frankenteddy.com, however, it gained popularity and momentum. Eventually, Frankenteddy.com was turned into a ‘portal’, directing you to either HV or HHFM.

Habbo-Vision had a giant leap forward with community events when two amazing staff members were hired - Flumpels and Deege. Although Flumpels is no longer a staff member at HV, Deege still works diligently to ensure amazing events for the Habbo community! Deege leads a crew of amazing Habbos who help her with the events. None of this would be possible without Puffin!

A new extension is in the making for Habbo-Vision, and it is a first. We are getting a forum, http://habbo-vision-forum.com/ which is powered by vbulletin! There are many people to thank for this, Deege, -Gordon-, Steven, ducky, and everyone! Forgive me if your name escaped me, ice cream is on me next time.

Who knows what the next chapter of HV history will hold?
